It cannot be pointed out often enough that for CRM imports the data must be present in certain formats. In order to supplement the remarks of the users manual you will find here some sample data sets.
In addition, the following Excel macro tool can be used to create a well formed *.CSV data file. Please keep in mind that this tool is not able to correct all possible formating errors automatically. You have to consider all formatting rules as described in the users manual.
Starting with version 5.0.4. your import data should be coded with the UTF-8 character set. This little Windows program does the conversion of txt and csv files for you.
